Over the past few months, we’ve seen more and more of the Wasted Youth Nike SB Dunk. Since first appearing on social media back in January, the pair has been doing the rounds throughout the sneaker world. Made in collaboration with artist Verdy, the upcoming SB Dunk is heavily influenced by punk and skate culture. With several delays impacting the release, we now have a confirmed release date for the Very x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth”.
In true punk fashion, the “Wasted Youth” Nike SB Dunk is rebellious from start to finish. A patchwork denim upper features red stitching throughout and layered denim on the mudguard, Swoosh and eyelets. The real star of the shoe, however, is a rose graphic that lines the medial Swoosh, putting a unique feature on this SB Dunk. Other notable details include the “WASTED/YOUTH” heel tabs, complete with a silver D-ring attached underneath; how punk. Insoles read “NO THANK YOU I DON’T NEED YOUR SUPPORT” as well as “Don’t both me anymore. A “WASTED SB” tongue tag rounds things off, bringing this true skate shoe to a close.
If you like the look of the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth” then there’s good news. According to sources, the pair is scheduled to release on April 6th for €110 at select retailers. There’s no news on whether these will get an EU release just yet so sit tight and wait for more. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Dunks.
