The Reimagined series has produced some of the most notable sneakers of the 2020s. Now, another classic Air Jordan 1 colourway is getting the Reimagined treatment, the UNC.
Like most shoes nowadays, the UNC Reimagined has been rumoured, leaked, and anticipated for months. The Reimagined line has taken several forms, but this release is taking on the simple pre-aged look seen on the fan-favourite ‘Lost & Found’ Chicago pair from 2022.
The base of the upper comes in slightly cracked off-white leather for that subtly pre-aged feel. The overlays show off the classic bright Tar Heel blues from Michael Jordan’s alma mater. The Air midsole also comes in a vintage cream finish, with a pre-faded blue rubber outsole underneath.
The box this UNC pair comes in also mirrors the Lost & Found box, meant to evoke a mismatched box you might find at a vintage shop. Releasing Saturday, the 10th of May, the UNC Reimagined has all the right ingredients to rank alongside the best Reimagined pairs.
