"Fire Red" Air Jordan 5s will Drop Next Month

When the Air Jordan 5 released in 1990, the shoe was an instant classic. Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design used a fully reflective 3M tongue and took inspiration from a WWII fighter plane. Over 30 years later, the “Fire Red” version of the sneaker is still one of the most recognisable in sneaker history. After a seven-year hiatus, the sneaker is making a return in its OG form.

Using the classic white leather base, the Air Jordan 5 features hits of black and red across the upper. The familiar black midsole, complete with red shark teeth, is accented with the icy sole unit. Taking things back to the 90s, the uses Nike Air on the back, as well as the same large reflective tongue as the original.

Take a closer look at the sneaker below, which is dropping in full family sizing, on April 25th. Will you be copping?
