For the past two years, the Nike Dunk has seen an enormous resurgence in popularity. Notable figures such as Travis Scott and Virgil Abloh have had a dramatic influence on the sneaker’s return. With that in mind, Nike has been ensuring that sneakerheads get their fix of the Nike Dunk. Reissued colourways, remixed silhouettes and collaborative kicks have seen the Dunk become one of this year’s hottest silhouettes. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like the party is over just yet.
The latest Nike Dunk Low SP, dubbed the “Champ Colors”, is a simple colour combo that has a big effect. Orange underlays are contrasted by Marine leather overlays, giving this Dunk a vintage feel. A simple orange “Nike” logo on the heel is accented by a golden Nike tongue tag, with Marine laces rounding the upper off nicely. A crisp white midsole is paired with a Marine outsole, completing this powerful Nike Dunk Low SP.
It’s great to see Nike dig back into the vaults a bit more, bringing some classic colour pairings back to life. With this latest “Champ Colors” following on from the “Brazil” and upcoming “University Red”, you can expect to see some more Dunks throughout the year. Rumoured to drop on June 24th, the Nike Dunk Low SP “Champ Colors” will retail for around €100. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Dunks.
