When Ronnie Fieg began teasing a Kith x Air Force 1 collaboration last year, the sneaker world went crazy. Although it eventually turned out to be a friends and family exclusive, many were left wanting more. Well, it looks as though we could be seeing a retail release pair after all.
Fieg has unveiled what many believe could be the retail Kith x Nike Air Force 1 in a shoot with Japanese sneaker publication Shoes Master. A crisp white leather upper is complete with side panels featuring debossed Kith logos. The bright red satin sock liner, as well as a red “Kith Air” heel tab, gives this shoe an added pop. Finishing things off is a pre-yellowed midsole and a stitched jewel Swoosh on the mudguard.
On the Instagram caption, Fieg stated that “First cover of my favorite sneaker publication of all time. The only way to announce this one.” Although we may be reading too deeply into this, the second sentence indicates that this sneaker could in fact drop. Fieg is no stranger to Japan and has been hinting at Kith expansion to the country.
